Dr. James Meschino is a recognized expert in nutrition wellness, and anti-aging medicine.
He was recently appointed 2025 as the Director of Longevity for Algernon Pharmaceuticals Inc, spearheading the nutritional medicine division of their Alzheimer's Prevention and Treatment program.
He serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He is a former faculty member of both the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Council on Exercise.
Dr. Meschino is the author of four books on nutrition, wellness, and healthy aging, published by Prentice-Hall, Wiley, and Basic Health Publications. He has authored over 150 research review papers in health professional journals and is a respected voice in the field of nutritional medicine.
As the founder and formulator of Adeeva Supplements, a professional-grade supplement line distributed by over 2,000 health practitioners across North America, Dr. Meschino has played a key role in advancing evidence-based nutritional support. He is also a well-known media personality, having appeared on numerous TV and radio programs, including his PBS television special Healthy Aging, Naturally, which aired on PBS.

Proven rapid sublingual therapy for pain and inflammatory conditions
Curcumin is a highly medicinal ingredient found in the spice herb turmeric. Chemically, it is a polyphenol structure that has poor solubility in water, and thus, is known to have limited absorption from the gut into the bloodstream poor bioavailability from oral supplements and food. This is a common problem for many phenolic compounds in nature that show great promise as medical agents, but their efficacy is limited by poor gut absorption i.e., catechins from green tea, resveratrol, quercetin, genistein etc.
However, enabling curcumin to dissolve under the tongue, diffusing into the blood vessels within the oral mucosa, via administration on an oral film strip, bypasses the challenges of oral supplementation or food ingestion of curcumin.
